This year, our 12th Gala Ball demonstrated the incredible generosity and kindness of our supporters, raising £2million for children with heart disease in developing countries.

The night was hosted by Britain’s Got Talent Judge, Alesha Dixon, who also performed her hit ‘The boy does nothing’! After the champagne reception, designers of the moment, Ralph & Russo, wowed the audience with a stunning fashion show.

The highlight of the night was the live auction, conducted by Lord Archer, featuring a six month internship with Christian Louboutin, who our Honorary Vice President, Countess Noemi Cinzano brought to the Ball to see how his prize went! Other amazing prizes included a year’s membership to No. 5 Hertford Street, the private members club with the longest waiting list in Europe; Margaret Thatcher’s iconic handbag, seen (right) on her meeting with US President Ronald Reagan; as well as the chance to jet off to Maranello with Ferrari, courtesy of HR Owen, to drive around the racecourse in one of the racing cars!

Throughout the evening, guests also enjoyed our silent auction, which featured prizes such as a VIP trip to Cognac, hosted by Rémy Martin, a scuba diving retreat to Honduras and the chance to dine like a Duke, with exclusive use of the Bedford Box (and a private butler!) at the Royal Opera House, to see André Chénier. One lucky supporter also won a MINI convertible in our raffle, worth over £28,000!

American superstar NE-YO gave a rousing performance to celebrate an incredible night, which saw guests partying into the early hours! With an awesome set including hits such as ‘Give me everything tonight’, ‘Let me love you’ and ‘So sick’, NE-YO proved to be a worthy star of the night. Members of the cast of Made in Chelsea were dancing alongside Rupert Everett, Alexandra Burke and Maxi Priest.

We cannot thank enough the sponsors of the Ball, Mrs Sherine Sawiris, Mr Leonardo Gonzales Dellan, Dr Assem Allam and Professor Magdy Ishak, who make the event possible. Thank you to our Ball Committee, led by our fantastic chair Mrs Dina Nassif, whose tireless commitment has enabled this event to become so successful, and who is supported by Countess Noemi Cinzano, who founded the event 12 years ago. Thank you to our Corporate Advisory Board, who give up their time and expertise to help organise the event. Thank you also to all the generous prize donors, who gave a wealth of exclusive and money-cannot-buy experiences and items to our auctions. And thank you to our volunteers, including those from Nobu London and Nobu Berkeley St., who all gave up their time to help us run the event on the evening.
