Chain of Hope Gala Ball 2025 raises vital funds for children

On Friday 14th November 2025, Chain of Hope held its annual Gala Ball the Natural History Museum in London to raise funds for children with heart disease.

Hosted by Rory Bremner, the event featured mesmerising performances by Pop legends and chart topping boyband, Blue, and the dazzling Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Lord Jeffrey Archer took center stage for a high-energy live auction packed with exclusive items and remarkable experiences. Excitement filled the room as bids skyrocketed for these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, all to support Chain of Hope’s mission of giving children a second chance at life.

Our CEO Emma Scanlan spoke to the hundreds of guests at our Gala Ball:

“Collaboration is key during these difficult times – over this year more than ever that has become more poignant with the past year’s efforts to help children from war torn areas – such as  evacuating children with heart disease from Gaza.

The following video tells the journey of just one of the little ones we worked hard with other NGO’s and the World Health Organisation to evacuate.

Jamal is a little boy who we managed to successfully evacuate from Gaza who suffered from an extremely complex heart condition.

We couldn’t get permission to evacuate his mother or his siblings but his father was eventually granted permission to reach our mission teams in Jordan, but even then his story was not straightforward.”

Chain of Hope thanks all our Committees, the Corporate Advisory Board and the Gala Ball Committee led by, Co-chairs, Mrs Cherine Helmy & Mrs Maria Sukkar with Vice-Chairs, Mrs Dina Roushdi and Mrs Sherine Sawiris.

We also thank our incredible sponsors: Azura, Royal Savoy Sharm El Sheikh, Jawhara Jewellery, Gratus Foundation, Somabay and National Bank of Egypt.
