Chain of Hope Gala Ball 2023 raises vital funds for children

On Friday 10th November 2023, Chain of Hope held its annual Gala Ball the Natural History Museum in London to raise funds for children with heart disease.

Hosted by Jonathan Samuels, the event featured mesmerizing performances by Internationally acclaimed Egyptian Soprano, Fatma Said and Grammy-Award winning singer, Joss Stone.

Lord Jeffrey Archer took the stage to conduct a dynamic live auction which featured exclusive items and experiences. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as bids soared for once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, all in the name of supporting Chain of Hope's mission to provide life-saving cardiac care to children in need.

Chain of Hope’s President and Founder, Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub thanked everyone for continuing to support the charity and told guests that,

“in-spite of massive difficulties around the world, starting with the pandemic then wars in different parts of the world, your charity continued trying very hard to represent you and present the best type of treatment to children who need it regardless of their colour, religion and creed and to address inequalities which are rife around the world.”

Chain of Hope thanks all our Committees, the Corporate Advisory Board and the Gala Ball Committee led by ,  Mrs Sherine Sawiris and her Vice Chairs; Dina Roushdi , Maria Sukkar and Cherine Helmy, for their efforts in making the Gala Ball another successful fundraising event for the charity.

Thanks to our generous sponsors for this year’s Gala Ball, Azura, Jawhara Jewllery, Royal Savoy Sharm el Sheikh and The Gratus Foundation.
