Successful return to Chain of Hope Christmas Carol Concert

On Thursday 07th December, Chain of Hope had a successful return to its much loved Christmas Carol Concert.

The festive celebration was held at The Grosvenor Chapel and brought together the charity’s long-term supporters, volunteers and regular givers to celebrate the festive season and help raise funds for children with heart disease.

The evening featured special guest reader, renowned TV presenter and writer, Baroness Floella Benjamin, alongside charismatic TV personality and author, Paul Carrick Brunson. Also lending their voices were Sherine Sawiris, Chain of Hope’s Honorary Vice President; Rob Raylman, CEO of Gift of Life International; Zein Freiha, philanthropist and friend of Chain of Hope, and Sofia Said, the granddaughter of Chain of Hope Gala Ball Committee Vice-Chair, Cherine Helmy.

Guided by conductor Richard Thomas, the Tredici Chamber Choir performed three hymns and led the congregation in singing timeless Christmas carols.

Classical Soprano, Joanna Forest, performed a breathtaking rendition of “O Holy Night” and long-term Chain of Hope supporter, Noor Charchafchi captivated the crowd with her performance of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”.

Following the service, the festive celebration continued as guests enjoyed red wine, hot chocolate from Food by Toby, and mince pies generously provided by Birley Bakery.

Chain of Hope would like to thank our sponsors, Occlutech and Birley Bakery for their invaluable support.
